Bridgetown Blues Festival 2009

Perfect weather, perfect surroundings, fantastic, down to earth people and outstanding bands - The 17th Annual Bridgetown Blues Festival had it all and West Coast Music Shack was there to meet some of the amazing talent to grace Bridgetown on the weekend of November 13th, 14th & 15th 2009. 

Come back often as we put together the video interviews that were shot throughout the weekend of the Festival. 
We were fortunate enough to catch up with some of the best known Blues names in Australia.  
Whether you know these fine artists personally ("Legends" and Newcomers alike), or you're meeting them for the first time, one thing is for certain - you will come away with more insight into the artists and maybe even a little bit into the magic and chemistry that happens only in Bridgetown at Festival time.  It's the place where the music meets, as do the people through it.

We also took some time out to chat to some of the residents in Bridgetown - it's a creative and magical place.

A little birdy tells us that 2010 is shaping up to be even bigger and better than 2009 with some surprise guests heading our way for the greatest blues celebration on the West Coast!  If 2009 is anything to go by, we can't wait!
