Damon Carren, one of the most scintilating, electrifying guitar players you're ever likely to hear! Taking the tried and true honesty of traditional blues and injecting it with a contemporary feel and sound, this is 'the real deal' - ain't no doubt about it, the boy can play.

Damon's first album 'Magenta', is an eleven song, hour long CD consisting of six electric tracks and five acoustic tracks, Damon covers the whole spectrum of Blues, Rock Guitar, playing highlights which include the blistering 'wah wah' drenched "The Sun is Shining", the haunting "Done With Tryin'", the poignant "L.B.C." and "Pretty Girl Leavin' Blues" or the industrial swamp rock of the title track "Magenta". Damon leaves no stone unturned, using an array of instruments including Stratocasters, six and twelve string Acoustics Dobro, Bouziki and introducing the 'Interplanetary Melobar Slide Guitar'. Add Bass Master Bob Fortesque and Lee (aka Leroy) Cleaver on Drums, a Rythmn section to die for, the line-up makes for a performance not to be missed!
With his second album presently in tow, big things are ahead for Damon and his band!.

Quite a few...Read more
