"The Stage is set.....If you like Sexy, L.A. Style, hard hitting, 'Take This baby' type Rock, you'll love GASOLINE Inc. They're an exciting high energy five piece band from Fremantle, Western Australia, formed in 2008 by core members Brazilian born Gabriel O'Brien (vocals), Andro Mestrovic (lead guitar/vocals) and Matt Sofoulis (rythmn guitar/vocals) who have been writing songs together since late 2007, and they've certainly wasted no time in making an impressive impact on the Perth Rock music scene. You can tell these boys just love what they're doing, and live, draw you in and make you determined to 'push your way in' as close to the stage as you can possibly get.
The self titled 4 track EP/CD promotional CD recorded at 'Millapede Projects' in East Fremantle is finely produced and loses nothing from the live performance. With punchy licks combined with some very pretty melodic guitar, and an abundance of Dirty riffs throughout. With very slight Bon Jovi overtones, they're guarenteed to get your head AND body Rockin' from the first few notes played.'The Rock Pit' www.therockpit.net, picks GASOLINE INC. as no.12 on the list of best rock releases of 2009.
The first track 'SUPERSTAR', which has recently been used by Network 10 to promote TNA (Total Non Stop Action) Wrestling - including stars such as Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Scott Steiner and Kevin Nash, and the AFL Grand Final 2009, says it all! It builds like the monster live show they intend giving us and is designed to take us straight into their world. Hell yeah, the passion is there!... Ego, you ask?...well actually, no. Certainly on speaking with them, they were modest and very polite, but certainly Very enthusiastic. I hear nothing but the desire to project their love for the music AND the fun, to everyone who appreciates what they're doing and where they're at... and that's a good place!
The second track BUTTERFLY starts subtley, and builds again to a powerful, exciting, melodic song about having no limits! Great fun and certainly inspiring! Loved it.
DYNAMITE is definately HOT! ...mmmm... some lucky lady inspired that one! A Sexy, Dirty riff throughout! Dangerous!
NICOTINE AND LOVE... another dirty Riffed track with a satisfying and melodic build up, with great vocals with what I thought were hints of SOUNDGARDEN tones, and of course, passionate lyrics about the obvious mentioned addictions.
Overall, the songs are all as powerful, yet all unique, and as I said, matched completely by they're live performance.
The Band has big plans, and are already on their way. Let nothing stop them!... No doubt they'll be heading out of W.A. sooner than we'd like, so do yourself a favour and at least catch them once before they do leave, as you know what happens..!...next minute they're HUGE and elsewhere. It's my bet, that's exactly what going to happen to GASOLINE INC.

The Guitar Gods Australia website began a year ago after Perth's Graham Greene (www.grahamgreene.com.au/) was invited to perform at the East Coast's Guitar Heroes (www.guitarheroes.com.au/) in Sydney, October 2007. Friendships were forged in the east at the time of the Guitar Heroes gig, one of which was between Donna Greene and legendary bass player, Bob Daisley.
